Attending an Event

So, you want to attend a Club Event?  What do you need to do?

  1. You should be either a full Member or on the Passport scheme working towards Membership.
  2. Sign the events sheet in the Events File & write your contact number clearly. You can sign up on Meet Up but as some organisers are not on Meet Up you must also either sign the events sheet on a Club night or contact the organiser to let them know you will be attending. Event hosts need your number to let you know of any changes or cancellations.
  3. Some events have large numbers attending so it is advisable to make a note of how and when you paid for any event fee.
  4. Most deposits and event tickets are non-refundable. It is up to you to sell your ticket or give your place to another member if you cannot attend.
  5. Put it in your diary and turn up! Notify the organiser if you can’t go so that they are not standing round waiting for you. The event host’s contact number will always be published in the full member’s monthly bulletin.
