Burslem History Club

November 9 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Talk is about local man Philip Astley, equestrian, circus owner & inventor, regarded as being the ” father of the modern circus”
Sadly with The Leopard Hotel closing and now under new ownership with a change of use it’s not likely to open up as a pub again, we’ve got a new venue.
8.00pm start ( 7.15pm advised to get a seat & parking place) £3.00 p.o.t.d no bar. Tea or coffee will be served afterwards, free parking on site.
Burslem History Club where the past is always present.

You can join us at this event by being a NS IVC full member, or prospective member, and booking at our weekly club night through arrangement with the host.
